" The Family " that Charles Manson gave the name to the members of his cult
might have been an allusion on Manson's part to Ephesians 3 : 14 - 15 ,
where the Apostle St. Paul says : " For this reason I bow my knees to the
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ , from whom the whole family in heaven and
earth is named ..."
I'm the president of the Charles Manson Fan Club and I've never heardmight have been an allusion on Manson's part to Ephesians 3 : 14 - 15 ,

anything like this about St. Charlie. They were called "The Family"
because that's what they were. Charlie picked up those unfortunates
that society had discarded and welcomed them with open arms into
his unconventional "family." From what Charlie and Family members
have repeatedly said, they only ever called themselves "The Family."
They were only called "The Manson Family" by the media. Your attempt
to find some biblical connection to the name seems very bizarre.
Charles Manson , who sometimes believed that he was a prophet for the Son of
Man , the Second Coming of Jesus Christ opening the seven seals mentioned in
the New Testament book of Revelation , in other words the Parousia , was
also a strong admirer of Adolf Hitler , and one of the possible reasons why
Charles Manson carved a swastika in his forehead , was because he was angry
with those Jews who refused to believe that he was a prophet for the Second
Coming of Jesus Christ...
I'll agree that St. Charlie had a bit of a Messianic complex. I've gotMan , the Second Coming of Jesus Christ opening the seven seals mentioned in

a great collection of recordings of the Prophet, but I really can't
get into his head to know exactly how he perceived himself. This is
just my opinion, but I don't believe that the swastika he carved on his
forehead is intended to symbolize a Nazi ideology. In fact, it started
out as a simple X as he appeared in court one day with an X carved on
his forehead and declared "I have X'd myself out of your world!" Only
later did he modify it into a swastika. I get the feeling that he did
it to represent what others saw him as - as pure evil. He decided that
since everyone saw him as the devil incarnate, he might as well look
the part. In his mind, he is being crucified for mankind's sins, just
like Jeezus.
