Palastine and the bolshevik takeover of Russia. Here is a start
The creation of OBama: chicagojewishnews.com/story.htm?sid=1&id=252218
From the article,
" ... Abner Mikva, the former Chicago congressman, federal judge and White
House counsel to President Bill Clinton, puts a 21st-century twist on the
notion that Clinton was "the nation's first black president." I think when
this is all over, people are going to say that Barack Obama is the first
Jewish president," he said. ...".

From Forward-50-2008:"... Penny Pritzker
As a member of one of Chicago's wealthiest families, Penny Pritzker comes
from a line known for its business acumen. But perhaps nobody in the family
has pulled off a financial feat that tops the vaunted fund-raising machine
she helped build for Barack Obama as his national finance chair. Though
Obama's troubles in winning over Jewish voters were a key story line in his
presidential race, Jewish support helped him make the national scene.
Pritzker is one of a cadre of prominent Chicago Jews - including the Crown
family, Abner Mikva and Lee Rosenberg - who knew Obama as a state senator
and helped form a key support for his 2004 Senate run. When Obama decided to
make his long-shot presidential bid, he tapped Pritzker to help him raise
the cash he needed. Pritzker, in turn, helped forge the most successful
fund-raising campaign in American political history, merging a flood of
small Internet donations with traditional Democratic big money. With the
campaign over, Pritzker, 49, may return to helping run her family's Hyatt
hotel chain. Or maybe not. Her name is being floated in Washington circles
as a potential secretary of commerce. ...".

to life after birth. Thus abortion is always permissible, indeed mandatory,

Jello Biafra did not endorse Obama. See here:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smygo/message/11961

"I did not vote for him because of his record in Congress voting for the
PATRIOT Act, the anti-immigrant wall, numerous corporate breaks and
subsidies, the FISA bill legalizing all the NSA's illegal wiretapping,
etc."

As for Johnny Rotten, I don't see what the big deal is. Are the ads for
butter any worse than the ad he did for Mountain Dew years ago?
(Actually, I liked the Mountain Dew ad.)

"Nevertheless I, too, felt moved by his speech in the park that night
in Chicago, seeing Jesse Jackson cry and wondering how Martin Luther
King, Jr would have felt. ... And, yes, I am glad that the adult

keys to the White House."

"You have gone out of your way to build a bridge to those of us fed up
with war, pollution, inequality, corporate lawlessness and business as
usual. You have energized a whole new generation who is far ahead of
their elders in knowing what urgently needs to be done. I have never
seen such an outpouring of heartfelt emotion, hope and support for an
American politician in my life, and I remember Kennedy well. You are
the first president in my lifetime to have a bona fide grassroots
movement behind you and ready to rock."

Sure sounds like an endorsement to me, even with Jello's disclaimer
that he didn't vote for Obama. What baffles me is how someone like
Jello Biafra who is so distrustful of big government and the
corporatocracy could fall for a slick politician who offers as much
hope and inspiration as a new brand of soda pop.

Maybe I was wrong to think Jello Biafra was ever a real anarchist.
Anarchy is the exact opposite of socialism, and Jello is supporting a
socialist president.

You're not exactly wrong. You just lack the capacity for
understanding complex or nuanced thought, for example
the thought that someone might appreciate some of the
attributes of Mr. Obama without becoming his slave or
fanboy.

Anarchy has been colonised. It is a "brand". It is cool to be an anarchist,
no conformist, but without knowing anything about anarchism. If you want to
be different, you can be an 'anarchist'. Wear some different clothes, or
listen to some different music. You can express your individuality by being
an anarchist. If you drink this drink, or wear these types of shoes you can
be an anarchist. Show your individuality by being different from the
millions of others who are also being different by using this celhpone or
wearing these brand lable clothes. Yup, I oppose something by being an
anarchist. Yeah, "phuq capitalism", yeah, in my nikes with my can of coke
and my nokia cellphone to text my mates and show them what an anarchist I
am. next month there isn a really cool new Nokia cellphone being launched. I
can show my anarchist individuality by buying an individualised face plate.
Yeah, 'phuq capitalism'.

Your spelling's atrocious by the way.

Not to mention; these people were most likely fad-anarchists in the
first place. Just because their nuances and complex quotes existed,
doesn't make them deep beyond their aesthetics. Anarchy hasn't died;
it's just that the original poster isn't highlighting people true to
the cause.

indeed could be the case. Like I said, anarchism is a brand now.
Anti-conformism = anarchy. At its shallowest, 'being an individual' can even
pass for anarchism in popular culture. I think your term of asthetics sums
up much of it quite well. Being an 'anarchist' can be quite a good money
earner for capitalism.

I have some trouble linking the sex pistolas to anarchism. I would place The

maybe Joseph, perhaps, hopefully. I am cynical about easily labelling
'non-conformist' as 'anarchist', or self-labeling themselves an 'anarchist'.
You get dickheads calling for 'anarchy', that seems merely to mean
anti-establishment. Tear down the existing capitalist establishment, but
continue to be manipulated by capitalist consumption and individualism, and
in time replace it with a new capitalist establishment. Anarchism isn't just
non-conformism, neo-liberal capitalism has created a market out of shallow
non-conformity. Anarchism is transcending neo-liberal capitalism.

I guess for every political theory there will be a more or less large
group of people that support the theory but understand it
superficially.

for some Joseph, I wonder if they even support the theory. I am of the
impression that many view anarchism or being an anarchist as a destructive
process only - anarchism is simply to be non confirmist or destructive of
the status quo, without having any concept of transcendental politics. When
the Sex Pistols sung "I am an anarchist" that might have appealed to a
mentality of 'yeah, phuq the establishment. Lets destroy it'. I wonder
however how many people stopped to think, "and replace it with what?".
